Journeys

So, in the first two lessons, we learned a lot about Malak and Syria. As usual, the more we learn, the more we want to know! One of the things that really stands out to us is how perilous Malak’s journey was. It strikes us that in an effort to get somewhere safe, refugees like Malak have to put themselves in great danger. We need to broaden our view and look at what it means to be a refugee.
