Voices of Youth
Overview
In honor of International Youth Day (August 12th), this month’s Call to Action celebrates the impact young people can make both locally and globally. You’re invited to create a piece of art that reflects your perspective on a global issue you care about and the change you want to see. Your finished work will be part of the “Wall of Change,” a powerful collective display of youth creativity, vision, and hope.
Follow the steps carefully, but most importantly, speak from the heart. Your voice matters.
Step 1: Choose a Topic
Pick any issue that matters to you—climate change, equality, education, mental health, technology, or anything else you’re passionate about.
Step 2: Select Your Form of Expression
Choose any medium to bring your idea to life—a drawing, poem, mini-poster, photograph, etc.
Step 3: Create
Let your creativity shine. Explore your chosen topic in a way that reflects your voice, vision, and power to make an impact.
Just make sure to save your final work as a PDF, JPG, or PNG. This is important as all submissions will be assembled into a “Wall of Change” in the Creative Visions Center in Malibu, CA, bringing together diverse voices and ideas from students in different places. Together, we’ll show that even when we’re apart, our impact is strong.
